Chances of conceiving within one year
In Europe, North America and much of the world approximately 85% of couples will conceive within one year if they have regular unprotected sex. Averages in the UK are as follows (National Health Service):
20% will conceive within one month
70% will conceive within six months
85% will conceive within 12 months
90% will conceive within 18 months
95% will conceive within 24 months.
Therefore, doctors in the UK will not usually diagnose a couple as infertile until 24 months have passed without conception and regular unprotected sex. Most people will see their GP (general practitioner, primary care physician) if there is no pregnancy within 12 months.
According to the National Health Service, UK, a couple that has been trying to conceive for over three years has a maximum 25% chance of conceiving over the subsequent 12 months if they continue trying.
So parents have to feed healthy food to their children from their childhood so that their children will not be Infertile.
My advise
1.... For most couples trying to conceive, the odds that a woman will become pregnant are 15% to 25% in any particular month. But there are some things that can affect your chance of getting pregnant:
a....Age. After you reach age 30, your chances of conceiving in any given month fall, and they decrease as you age, dropping steeply in your 40s.
b....Irregular menstrual cycles. Having an irregular cycle makes it tricky to calculate when you're ovulating, thus making it difficult to know the ideal time to have sex.
c.... Frequency of sex. The less often you have sex, the less likely you are to get pregnant.
d.... Amount of time you've been trying to conceive. If you haven't gotten pregnant after one year of trying to conceive, your chances of becoming pregnant may be lower. Talk to your doctor about tests for female and male infertility.
e... Illnesses or medical conditions can affect pregnancy.
2.... One study, published in the journal Human Reproduction, followed women who were trying to get pregnant by having sex at the time in their monthly cycle when they were believed to be most fertile. Of the 346 women in the study, 310 conceived in the first year. The breakdown was like this:
a...... 38 percent were pregnant after 1 month
b...... 68 percent were pregnant after 3 months.
c...... 81 percent were pregnant after 6 months.
d..... 92 percent were pregnant after 12 months.
3...... "I recommend having sex frequently—two to three times a week, but every other day if you can—shortly after you stop menstruating to cover your window of pre-ovulation," says Kelly Pagidas, M.D., a fertility specialist with Women & Infants Center for Reproduction and Infertility in Providence.
4.... Here's why: Around day seven of your cycle, you'll notice a vaginal discharge that seems a little springy to the touch. Within a few days, it will turn white and creamy, a cue that your fertility is returning once again. It doesn't mean the egg is released yet, but it's a good indicator that ovulation is on the way and that your cervical mucus is a friendly environment for sperm.
5.... Remember, you can get pregnant right after your period, even if you're not yet ovulating. That's because sperm can live up to five days if it's trapped in fertile cervical mucus. So it behooves you to get a few of his swimmers in place. "One study showed that people who had sex only one time during this phase, even four to five days before ovulation, still got pregnant," says Steven R. Bayer, M.D., a reproductive endocrinologist at Boston IVF fertility clinic in Boston.
6.... Water is most important to conceive than medicines or any other
a... Water cleans uterus and make it healthy
b... Water helps to release healthy egg
c... Water improves your life partner sperm
d... Start drinking water then your body will tell you how much it needs
7.....Eat healthy food, follow healthy habits, drink sufficient water and your (couple) happiness improve your chances of Healthy child.
