Brain parts and its functions
Posted in 2015

The brain is an amazing three-pound organ that controls all functions of the body, interprets information from the outside world, and embodies the essence of the mind and soul. Intelligence, creativity, emotion, and memory are a few of the many things governed by the brain. Protected within the skull, the brain is composed of the cerebrum, cerebellum, and brainstem.
The brain receives information through our five senses: sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing - often many at one time. It assembles the messages in a way that has meaning for us, and can store that information in our memory. The brain controls our thoughts, memory and speech, movement of the arms and legs, and the function of many organs within our body.
The central nervous system (CNS) is composed of the brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system (PNS) is composed of spinal nerves that branch from the spinal cord and cranial nerves that branch from the brain.
The brain is composed of the cerebrum, cerebellum, and brainstem
1...   Brain Stem..acts as a relay center connecting the cerebrum and cerebellum to the spinal cord. It performs many automatic functions such as breathing, heart rate, body temperature, wake and sleep cycles, digestion, sneezing, coughing, vomiting, and swallowing.
2...   Cerebellum: is located under the cerebrum. Its function is to coordinate muscle movements, maintain posture, and balance.
3...   Cerebrum: is the largest part of the brain and is composed of right and left hemispheres. It performs higher functions like interpreting touch, vision and hearing, as well as speech, reasoning, emotions, learning, and fine control of movement.
My Advise
1....   The brain stem is located in front of the cerebellum and connects to the spinal cord. It consists of three major parts:
a.....  Midbrain. The midbrain helps control eye movement and processes visual and auditory information.
b....  Pons. This is the largest part of the brain stem. It’s located below the midbrain. It’s a group of nerves that help connect different parts of the brain. The pons  also contains the start of some of the cranial nerves. These nerves are involved in facial movements and transmitting sensory information.
c...   Medulla oblongata. The medulla oblongata is the lowest part of the brain. It acts as the control center for the function of the heart and lungs. It helps regulate many important functions, including breathing, sneezing, and swallowing.
2....  The cerebellum is located in the back of the brain, just below the occipital lobes. It’s involved with fine motor skills, which refers to the coordination of smaller, or finer, movements, especially those involving the hands and feet. It also helps the body maintain its posture, equilibrium, and balance.
3....  The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain. It’s divided into two halves, called hemispheres. The two hemispheres are separated by a groove called the inter hemispheric fissure. It’s also called the longitudinal fissure.
4..    Brain consists 100 Trillion cells which represent all body and brain functions such as thinking, memory, subjects ..................
5...   Brain Stem and Cerebellum are parts to control all our body functions,   Cerebrum is the biggest part which has various cells of subjects like Mathematics, Science, Psychology, ........................The oxygen in mother's body first reaches to Brain Stem and Cerebellum than it will reach Cerebrum.  More oxygen is needed to reach Cerebrum.  So mother should control her tastes and eat healthy food to send oxygen to open
Cerebrum.
6...   I advise the couple who wants to give birth to a brilliant child should control their tastes and follow healthy food
