The feelings of your unborn child
Posted in 2012

Love and care for the baby – Mothers who feel and show love for the baby in the womb have babies who are healthier, happier and relaxed. Bonding with the unborn baby and talking to her in a gentle and loving manner will have positive effects on her memory and emotions. Talking to the baby in the womb is also beneficial since the baby is building the foundations of language. Be Healthy and Happy to give your Lovely child
Your feelings and the baby

You may find that instead of being excited about the birth of your baby, you are feeling stressed and confused. Your feelings during pregnancy can affect the baby too. For example, if you are feeling stressed, the baby’s heart rate will respond to this and potentially increase. Babies whose mothers are anxious or depressed during pregnancy may be more susceptible to mental health issues later in life.

Talk to someone about your feelings and ask questions when you see your maternity team. Try to increase your support network and meet other expectant mums to share your experiences. Try to look after your own health and well being, and make sure you get enough rest and relaxation.

If you have had a mental health issue before, or you are experiencing feelings that differ from those you usually have, you should visit your doctor as soon as you can. Certain antidepressants can be used safely during pregnancy for moderate to severe depression. Your doctor will tell you which ones are safe or suggest another way to help you.

My advise
1....    At around week 18 of your pregnancyyour baby will begin to hear the sounds of your body, such as your heartbeat and your stomach rumbling. At 26 weeks, a baby may react to noises both inside and outside the mother's body, and may be soothed by the sound of her voice
2...   The outside noise your baby hears inside the uterus is about half the volume we hear. However, unborn babies may still startle and cry if exposed to a sudden loud noise.
3....    After 32 weeks your baby may start to recognise certain vowel sounds from your language. Some research suggests that very early language development may begin before birth.  This will improve Language.
4....    As well as remembering certain sounds from their mother’s language, babies may remember certain music played to them in the womb..    It will improve memory of your child.
5...     Unborn babies’ retinas are developed at 20 weeks, and they open their eyes and can see light from 22
weeks.. However, babies’ eyes continue to develop after they are born.
6....    After around 18 weeks, babies like to sleep in the womb while their mother is awake, since movement can rock them to sleep. They can feel pain at 22 weeks, and at 26 weeks they can move in response to a hand being rubbed on the mother’s belly.
7....    "Babies hear sounds from the outside world at 16 weeks gestation," says Deena H. Blumenfeld, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. "They also recognize their parents' voices from the moment they are born. If dad sings to the baby while baby is still in the wombbaby will know the song, calm and look to dad."
8....   Toy story. "Since dads tend to dream of things they will do with their offspring as the baby grows, making or buying something connected to those activities is a tangible way to cement this growing bond," says Greg Bishop, founder of Boot Camp for New Dads. "Maybe it's a pint size fishing pole, maybe it's something to do with their favorite sports team. When mom is pregnant and thinks about the baby, she pictures an infant. Dad pictures the baby older, as a new playmate and dreams of how he will show them their world and the adventures they'll have."
9...   Sing a duet. For the musical family: why not sing duets to the baby in mom-to-be's tummy? The good musical vibes that will reach deep into the amniotic atmosphere will surely be good for everyone involved. "Babies hear sounds from the outside world at 16 weeks gestation," says Deena H.  This music must be classical or traditional.   If it is western music the child will not concentrate on education n become poor.
10...  Blumenfeld, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. "They also recognize their parents' voices from the moment they are born. If dad sings to the baby while baby is still in the womb, baby will know the song, calm and look to dad." The family that sings together, stays together. Cool, right?
