Azoospermia....No sperm count...Infertility in Male
One of my friend in Facebook asked me to explain Azoospermia.. It is one of the cause of Infertility.
Azoospermia (commonly referred to as “no sperm count”) is a male fertility issue many men face. Azoospermia is defined as the complete lack of sperm in the ejaculate. It occurs in 5% of infertile men. If this is the case, then one or both of two conditions may be present (“causes”):[do action=”clear”/]
There is a problem with sperm production.
There is a blockage such that sperm production, although normal, cannot reach the ejaculate
Conditions That Cause Azoospermia
Primary testicular failure, Klinefelter syndrome
Y chromosome microdeletions
Genetic infertility due to abnormal chromosomes (karyotype)
Unexplained genetic infertility
Secondary testicular failure, Kallman syndrome
Unexplained gonadotropin deficiency
Hypothalamic/pituitary tumor
Cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiation, surgery)
Varicocele effect
Pituitary suppression, drug induced (anabolic steroids, alcohol, glucocorticoids)
Testosterone supplements
Congenital adrenal hyperplasia
Severe illness (cancer, kidney or liver failure)
Diabetes mellitus
Sickle cell anemia
Sperm autoimmunity
Pesticide/toxin exposure (including hot tubs and baths)
Undescended testicles at birth
Obstruction, congenital absence of the vas deferens (CAVD)
Ejaculatory duct obstruction
Scrotal trauma or surgery
Young syndrome
The above are causes..We can treat some of above. The male suffering from Diabetes should control it with their healthy food, life style etc..then this problem can be cured. Varicocele is 50% chances to cure. Remaining is according to individual conditions but the chances are very less to cure until unless he follows our guidance.
My advise
1... Based on the most recent World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, experts consider a healthful sperm count to be 15 million per milliliter (ml), or at least 39 million per ejaculate.
2..    However, some lifestyle choices and natural remedies can help support the hormones that control sperm production, which may aid the healthy development of sperm and improve sperm count.
3....   For several decades, researchers have known that sperm quality and fertility rates have been declining in most Western nations.    According to one 2017 study, the average sperm count in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand dropped by 59.3% between 1973 and 2011.   Despite studies having identified this, scientists still do not fully understand the reasons for this decline. Research into reliable methods for reversing a low sperm count is ongoing.
4....   Practitioners of ancient, herbal, and traditional medicine have used several nonpharmacologic remedies to increase sperm count and improve sperm health for thousands of years. What is more, researchers have suggested that most of these remedies can actually influence sperm count in some way
5...    According to me lifestyle should be changed to increase  the sperm count as under
a....   Regular exercise and sound sleep::In the study, regular exercise increased sperm count and motility in 45 men with obesity and sedentary lifestyles
b....   Avoid smoking::The researchers found that people who smoked moderate or heavy amounts of tobacco had a lower sperm quality than people who smoked tobacco less heavily
c...    Avoid Alcohol and drugs:::The number of controlled studies to have explored the link between sperm health and drugs is limited. This is because testing illicit substances can lead to ethical problems.
d...    Avoid unwanted medicines:::Some prescription medications can potentially decrease healthy sperm production. Once the male stops taking the medication, however, their sperm count should return to normal or increase.
e...    Vitamin D and Calcium::Researchers are not entirely sure why, but blood levels of vitamin D and calcium appear to impact sperm health.   Spend 15 to 25 minutes in sun races you will get Vitamin D and follow healthy food you will get calcium as needed.
f...     Follow healthy food to improve your sperm naturally
