Why we are eating? 8
Please tell me answer to it..Some one will tell we are hungry..some will tell we cannot do work due to hungry.........................
I will tell U what you need to run your two/four wheeler ie. Fuel
ie Petrol or Diesel oil...If you have two or more vehicles. You filled fuel in all and use one daily. Some vehicle will give U more mileage some vehicle give U less mileage. If you wants to go far distance on your vehicles daily. By using one vehicle you have fill 2 times while another you have fill 3 times....but the distance is same. Please tell me Why you need to fill different times. Because depend upon the engine capacity one need to fill according to the work. Similarly every one needs food according to his body activities. You are spending
energy for work you are doing ex:::seeing, working according to your profession, sitting etc...your heart function, breathing your body cleaning, removing unwanted items from your body with your stool, urine ..your body works 24 hours non stop. It also needs energy..
Now we will discuss in details daily. Our fuel is healthy food.
We will get energy with our food. What ever you eat ::food grains, such as rice, wheat etc...fruits,,,banana, apples etc..oils... gives you some energy
Do you know that more than 60% Infertility problems, health problems are only due to Unhealthy food. God created us to enjoy the life for 100 years without any health problem and give birth to Healthy child.
The main cause of Defective births, miscarriages etc..only unhealthy food. Read my blogs on Nutrition Values, Mineral Values, Required Nutrition and Fertility to avoid such births.

• According to the American Heart Association and World Health Organization, you shouldn’t consume more than 7% of your total calories from saturated fat
• Top nutritionists at Harvard have concluded that trans fat could be responsible for an many as 30,000 premature coronary deaths per year
• The American Heart Association recommends limiting the amount of trans fats you eat to less than 1% of your total daily calories, which is less than 2 grams per day for a 2,000 calorie diet

• Swapping “white" carbs for whole grains may lower your risk for heart disease by 33%
• According to a 2008 report in the journal Environmental Science & Technology, eating chicken, fish, or eggs instead of red meat and dairy just one day a week for a year would reduce greenhouse gas emissions by an amount equivalent to not driving 760 miles. Eating no meat one day a week for a year is equivalent to not driving 1,160 miles.
• The Institute of Medicine recommends that adults get a minimum of 0.4 grams of protein for every pound of body weight per day
• In a National Institutes of Health study, men and women with pre-hypertension who reduced their sodium intake by 25 to 35% had a 25% lower risk of developing cardiovascular disease over the 10 to 15 years after they reduced their sodium intake
• The average American drinks 526 12-oz sodas per year … that’s 1.5 cans each day. Swap those empty calories for water and you’ll cut out over 6,000 calories per month … which amounts to 21 pounds of weight loss in a year

The study concluded that energy-dense foods are not only the least expensive, but also most resistant to inflation, which may help explain why the highest rates of obesity continue to be observed among groups of limited economic means.
Don't see the cost but see how it is beneficial to your body. When any food gives U more calories which is excess to your body will cause U obesity. Beware of obesity risk.

• By eating at least 5 servings of vegetables and fruits a day, you can reduce your risk of stroke and heart disease by 30%, lose weight, and enhance your immune system so you don’t get sick as often
The main cause of obesity is consuming more calories with your food...Eat food equal to expenditure of energy than you will be healthy.

They found that getting 150 minutes of exercise per week cut heart disease risk by 14%; 300 minutes a week decreased heart disease risk by 20%; and 750 minutes cut the risk by 25%
• People who do the four things below live on average an additional 14 years compared with people who adopt none of these behaviors, according to a study published in the journal PLoS Medicine from the Public Library of Science:
1. Don’t smoke
2. Exercise
3. Drink alcohol in moderation
4. Eat five servings of fruits and vegetables per day

Watch your weight
Unhealthy food intake—whether too much or too little—has been recognized as a contributing factor to infertility for many years.
Too little or too much weight can make your reproductive cycle irregular. That causes you to ovulate only now and then, or not at all.
"Your ovaries and your fat cells regulate estrogen, which affects ovulation. If you're too thin, you may not be producing enough estrogen, and if you're overweight or obese, you may be producing too much," says Maria Biasucci-Vianna, MS, RD, CDN, a New Rochelle, NY, dietitian who has counseled women with infertility problems in her private practice.
The first order of business, Biasucci-Vianna says, is to achieve and maintain a healthy weight to keep your reproductive cycle in balance. She advises the women she sees to check their BMI (body mass index) score. A BMI ranking of 19-24 indicates a healthy weight (athletes may have higher scores due to muscle mass). Anything below or above that range should be discussed with your health care provider.

What does your OB-GYN want you to know before getting pregnant?
Because no one knows for sure how caffeine impacts fertility, some experts suggest lowering your caffeine intake even more or giving it up entirely, especially if you're having difficulty conceiving or if you're undergoing in vitro fertilization.
Once you're pregnant, experts recommend getting no more than 200 milligrams of caffeine a day (a little less than a 12-ounce cup of coffee) because higher amounts have been linked to an increased risk of miscarriage.
According to my experience the couple should not take coffee more than 100 ml per day.. It is the safest to have healthy pregnancy and healthy child.

Pump up your iron intake
Fill your body's iron reserves before you get pregnant, especially if your periods are heavy. According to Sam Thatcher, a reproductive endocrinologist and author of Making a Baby: Everything You Need to Know to Get Pregnant, "Bleeding every month is a constant source of iron depletion."
Make sure to get enough iron now – once you're expecting, it's difficult for your body to maintain its iron level because your developing baby uses up your stores of the mineral. (Pregnant women need double the amount of iron they needed before pregnancy.)
Too little iron at conception not only can affect your baby, it can also put you at risk for iron-deficiency anemia during pregnancy and after you give birth (especially if you lose a lot of blood during delivery). Anemia causes your red blood cells to fall below normal and saps your energy.

Seafood is the best source of omega-3 fatty acids, and according to some scientists, these essential fats may have a positive effect on fertility. Research suggests that a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids may help regulate ovulation, improve egg quality, and even delay aging of the ovaries.
Omega-3s are also important for a baby's brain and eye development and could have many other pregnancy-related benefits. These include lowering your risk of preterm birth, reducing your chance of preeclampsia, and easing depression.
On the other hand, you've probably also heard that some types of fish contain contaminants such as mercury. In high doses, this metal is harmful to a baby's developing brain and nervous system.

The good news is that not all fish contain a lot of mercury. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says that women trying to conceive can safely eat up to 12 ounces (roughly two or three servings) a week of fish like canned light tuna, salmon, shrimp, cod, tilapia, and catfish.
However, the FDA advises limiting white (albacore) tuna and completely avoiding fresh or frozen swordfish, tilefish, king mackerel, and shark because these have the highest mercury levels.
You can take fish oil supplements if you don't like seafood, but first talk to your doctor about which brand to buy and how much you should take.

Choose other proteins
Protein is a critical part of a healthy diet, but according to the USDA, many Americans rely too heavily on beef, pork, and chicken to get their daily amount. In a study of 18,555 women, experts at Harvard Medical School found that those who included one daily serving of vegetable protein – such as nuts, beans, peas, soybeans or tofu – were less likely to have infertility due to ovulation problems.
More research is needed on the link to fertility, but because vegetable proteins are usually lower in fat and calories than steak or fried chicken, including them in your meal plans is both good for you and a great way to maintain a healthy weight.

Be aware of listeria
Listeria is a bacterium that can contaminate lunchmeats, soft cheeses, and unpasteurized dairy products. Pregnant women are more likely than other healthy adults to get sick from eating contaminated food, and the infection caused by listeria (listeriosis) can cause a miscarriage early in the first trimester – possibly before you even know you're pregnant.
To kill listeria, heat high-risk foods in the microwave until they're steaming hot. To reduce bacteria growth on leftovers, set the refrigerator's temperature to 40 degrees or less. Toss any food that's been at room temperature for more than two hours.
Do not eat these foods: raw fish and sushi, refrigerated smoked seafood (like lox), soft cheese made from unpasteurized (raw) milk, other unpasteurized dairy products, and refrigerated pâté or meat spreads. (Canned or shelf-stable spreads are safe to eat.)
